How do you win a free trip to a World Series game?

That’s one of the perks of winning the American Legion World Series. This year the Idaho Falls Bandits players and coaches went on a free trip to DC to watch game 3 of the World Series. How about adding that to our 2020 baseball season goals? Players like Verlander and Scherzer both played American Legion Baseball, and they turned out pretty good!

Bandits headed to the World Series

This Sunday October 27th at Noon we will be getting Jim Moran Field ready for Winter. This involves taking down the fence signs and dugout netting. All players and parents (with drills) available please come out to help! This normally takes an hour or less to complete. Thanks in advance from Fike Baseball!

The field is still too wet, so the Sr Fike games are also canceled today. 😟

The weather just doesn’t like us this year, and it has forced us to cancel the Jr Fike games today. Update on Sr Fike games will be announced ASAP.

Reminder that the first payment for player fees is due the end of this month. You can bring a check this Saturday, mail to Jim Moran, or pay from our website.

Jr Fike will play a double header this Saturday Oct 19th at 10AM & 12PM at Hidden Valley Field 3.

Sr Fike will also play 2 games this Saturday Oct 19th at 12PM & 4PM at Hidden Valley Jim Moran Field 2.

For those that missed our parent meeting:

Our fees for next year for both Sr & Jr Fike teams will be $650. This covers expenses for our winter workouts indoors and for next summer’s tournaments (most of which we have to prepay several months in advance). For the Sr Fike team this also includes player’s travel and rooms for our out of town tournaments.

For your convenience the payments can be broken up into 3 payments. The first payment is due by the end of October, the second due the end of November, and the final one is due at the end of January. We skip December.

You can send payments with your son to practice, mail it to Jim Moran, or pay from our website through PayPal with a debit or credit card. You do not have to have a PayPal account to send payments. We do have one fundraiser coming up on Saturday January 25th, 2020 when we will have our annual Mouse Races event. More details will be posted when they are available.

This Saturday October 5th Jr Fike will play in a one day tournament at Webb Park in Oak Grove. Game times are 10am and Noon on Field 3. Players please arrive 1 hour earlier. Championship game is at 6pm for top 2 teams.
