Post 499 Fike Baseball will be holding tryouts for both the Junior and Senior 2018-19 teams on Wed & Thurs Aug 1st and 2nd at Hidden Valley Sports Complex. Registration begins at 5:30PM and Tryouts start at 6PM on both days.

Wear baseball attire and bring any gear needed for the position/s that you are trying out for!

To be eligible to tryout you must live in the Blue Springs South school district or the Grain Valley school district and live closer to Blue Springs South than to Oak Grove High School.

For over 40 years this Legion program has been highly successful both on and off the field. Over 76% of the young men that have played for Post 499/Fike have gone on to play at different levels of college baseball.

Again the rain hit the field at the wrong time, and the game tonight is cancelled. We will play tomorrow in Sedalia, however the game time has not been determined yet. Update will be sent in the team Groupme or email as soon as it is available.

Sr Fike’s Zone game tonight has been cancelled due to rain. The game is now rescheduled for Thursday July 19, 2018 5:30PM at Hidden Valley Jim Moran Field.

Fike’s Moehle leads team to Zone 2 All-Star win

The first part of the schedule is out for Sr Fike’s Zone Tournament. First game is Wednesday July 18th 5:30pm at Hidden Valley Jim Moran Field vs Warrensburg. If we win we play Thursday July 19th at 4:30pm in Sedalia at Liberty Park. If we lose we don’t play until Friday July 20th (time TBD). There will be a gate fee at all games of $5/day ($3 seniors & children). Let’s go FIKE!
