Post 499 Fike Baseball will be holding two tryouts for both the 17U Junior and 19U Senior 2019 Fall-2020 Summer teams. The tryout dates are Saturday August 10th at 12PM and on Sunday August 11th at 1PM at Hidden Valley Sports Complex Jim Moran Field. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to register!

Post 499 Fike’s season ended on Saturday in the Zone 2 Tournament with a loss to Rod’s A’s. We had our ups and our downs, but overall it was a great season for these young men that never gave up!

Fike Baseball would like to thank all of the players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and supporters of our 2019 baseball season!

Uniform turn in is this Thursday August 1st 6PM at Hidden Valley. See the team Groupme for more details on what to turn in. Please notify coach Matt if you cannot be there. Also, details on the end of season pizza party this coming weekend will be confirmed soon.

Duo helps in all three phases to keep Fike alive

Post 499 Fike got a 2-1 win today against Post 131 Warrensburg to stay alive in the Zone 2 Tournament! Our next elimination game is 4PM Saturday July 27th at Hidden Valley Jim Moran Field vs Rod’s A’s. Come out to support the team! Winner of that game plays the Outlaws at 7PM. Let’s GO FIKE!

After a tough 10 inning 3-2 loss to the Outlaws last night, Fike will battle to stay in the double elimination Zone tournament today at Hidden Valley Jim Moran Field 4PM vs Warrensburg Post 131. Come out in full force Fike family to cheer on the team in what could be the final game of the 2019 season! If Fike wins today the next game is Saturday at 4PM vs (Winner of Rod’s A’s vs Post 11). Post 499 Fike stays in the top bracket of the Zone 2 Tournament with an 8-6 win over Post 11 St Joseph today. Our next game is Thursday 4pm at Hidden Valley Jim Moran Field vs Lee’s Summit Outlaws. Come out again to support the team, GO FIKE!

Ok Fike family, we need everyone to come out Wednesday July 24th to cheer on Post 499 Fike as they take on Post 11 for their first game in the Zone 2 Tournament. The game starts at 4pm at Hidden Valley Field 3. The weather looks to be fantastic! Bring your chairs, pop-ups, etc. if you wish and let’s GO FIKE!

The tournament schedule is set, and our first game will be Wednesday July 24th 4pm at HV 3 vs Post 11 St. Joseph. If we win or lose our next game will be Thursday July 25th 4pm at HV 2 or HV3. See full details below:

This year’s Zone 2 Tournament will be at Hidden Valley field 2 (Jim Moran Field) & field 3 from Wednesday July 24th through Saturday July 27th. The schedule will not be available until all of the league games are completed this weekend. However, we do know that the games on Wed and Thurs will be at 4PM and 7PM. The games on Fri will start at 1PM. The Fike Calendar will be updated as soon as schedule is released, and if available the full Zone schedule will be posted as well.

Come out to Liberty Park in Sedalia to cheer on Post 499 Fike tonight at 6pm and 8pm at Liberty Park! Our last 2 league games are Saturday 12pm and 2pm at Oak Park High School against Herrick Memorial Owls.
