Fike Legion Baseball teams will be having tryouts for the 2026 season on Sun July 27, 2025 at 2PM at Hidden Valley Park.

To try out for Fike Baseball you must be 18U-15U High School age & attend school at one of the following:

• Blue Springs High School
• Blue Springs South
• Grain Valley
• Pleasant Hill
• Fort Osage
• William Chrisman
• Or attend a private school within one of the above school districts

If you are currently on a Fike team you should also attend these tryouts. Please show up at least 15 minutes before start time to fill out paperwork. You also need to bring your glove(s), bat, spikes and wear baseball pants. If you are a catcher bring your gear.

For over 45 years this Legion program has been highly successful both on and off the field. Over 76% of the young men that have played for Post 499/Fike have gone on to play at different levels of college baseball. With the help from our great sponsors and volunteers the cost to play American Legion Baseball is usually a third or less than what most club/travel teams charge for the same amount of games and skill level.
